I take a silversmith class every week at a local rock shop here in the downtown area, the guy that owns the shop is an interesting guy, if there was an animal to represent each person who would you be? this guy I think would either be a sloth or a turtle haven't decided which. I have never seen him do anything in a hurried way. I went in there for a mini class for my leather working, I think I pull out the sorrow in people lately, its a bit scary really. He was telling me about his friend that died a few years ago, about how he was a non conformist, spent time in jail, but was this amazing artist. He build these full scale models out of toothpicks: churches, buildings, etc. He was one of those get rich quick schemers. Anyway John was almost in tears talking about him. I find it ironic that I usually run from emotion and yet I always find it. Anyway that was a side track!
My thing lately because I have extra time on my hands and have no idea what to do with it, guess thats a consequence from having no extra time before. So I picked up recycling, basically that means, you take old items, Jewlery, belts. clothing etc and make it into something else. Im going the cuff and braclet route. So I spend alot of time in garage sales, thrift shops, markets, its something to do. I like the idea of taking something you wouldnt normally want to use, and making it new again, or taking a part of it and using it for something new. Im working on a few this week, Ill post some pics! you can tell me what you think..:O

My dog Raggy, inserting her nose into my finds for my bracelts. She has a facination with that ugly bow for some reason. I also have been welding, training my dog in agility, and tearing engines up in cars.
